As Sydney comes alive for Mardi Gras, GearUp brings together kinksters from across Australia and around the world for a night of connection, expression, and vibrant queer joy.
Now in its 8th year, GearUp remains a true highlight of Mardi Gras season – your chance to socialise, gear up, shine up, and meet your people before the parade weekend begins.
Whether you’re here to show off your leathers, get your latex polished, wag your tail in the pup area, or simply enjoy the electric energy of a community in full celebration mode, GearUp invites you to step boldly into who you are and who you’re becoming.

Complimentary and streamlined for quick entry. A small changing room is available near the bathrooms, but arriving in your gear is strongly encouraged to minimise queues. It would also help to bring a bag to make cloaking items easier!

Outdoor smoking space available (strictly no smoking or vaping inside).

Studio Kink is wheelchair accessible but we are located on the top floor – please email before/after ticket purchase so we can make arrangements and discuss in further detail.
